Fault Code

Condition/Description

Resolution

F0

Function key stuck

Replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, repair the clock (ERC)

F1

System Watchdog Circuit

Press “Cancel”, if beeping continues after 30 seconds. Repair the main control board (also called clock or ERC)

F2

Heating mode high temperature

This alarm is activated when the ERC senses a runaway heat condition or when the temperature exceeds “runaway limits”. The ERC will beep until the cancel or another function is selected. If the alarm repeats the F2 code check the oven sensor and wiring after first checking for a stuck relay. If alarm goes away verify the oven will complete a clean cycle without any type of failure

F3

Shorted oven temperature sensor (RTD)

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok

F4

Open oven temperature sensor (RTD)

Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok

F6

EEPROM checksum error

Repair main control board (also called clock or ERC).
The main control operates a series of software commands, which control the various features and functions of the oven. Each function or operation has a numerical value assigned to it. The numerical values can be added up – this is called the check sum operation. Every time the system is powered up and after each clean cycle the system performs a check sum and compares the value to the value programmed into the software (stored in memory).
An EEPROM check sum error or F6 code occurs when the values differ. If this happens, repair the main control board (also called clock or ERC)

F7

Door lock enabled above temperature

Check the door lock switches and wiring

F8

Door locking switch

Check the door lock switches and wiring

PRP

Probe Circuitry failure

Defective robe or check for condensation in probe receptacle area
